Pancit Bihon

A quick and easy pancit recipe using fresh vegetables, meat, and bihon noodles to create a flavorful dish done the Bobby G way!

Ingredients

  • 1 bag bihon noodles

  • 1 lb chicken

  • 2 carrots

  • 1/2 onion

  • 1/2 head of cabbage

  • 1 whole garlic bulb

  • 1/4 lb green beans

  • 1 Chinese sausage

    Pancit Sauce:

  • 2 c chicken broth

  • 2 Tbsp soy sauce

  • 2 Tbsp oyster sauce

  • 1 tsp salt (S)

  • 1 tsp pepper (P)

  • 1 tsp patis (fish sauce)

Instructions

  1. Soften bihon noodles by soaking in warm water while prepping everything else.

  2. Sear chicken, slice and set aside.

  3. Slice veggies and sausage. Sauté carrots, onions, cabbage, garlic, green beans and sausage. Set aside.

  4. Prepare Pancit Sauce by mixing together chicken broth, soy sauce, oyster sauce, salt, pepper and patis.

  5. Add drained noodles to a wok or large pan, pour in Pancit Sauce, and mix well. Add sautéed veggies, sausage, and sliced chicken. Mix until all flavors are well incorporated. Season to taste.
