Ingredients
Korean Kalbi Short Ribs
2 lbs thick-cut crosscut beef short ribs (flanken style)
¾–1 cup Korean sweet garlic BBQ marinade
For Garlic Fried Rice (Sinangag)
3 cups day-old white rice
6–8 cloves garlic, finely minced
2–3 tbsp neutral oil
Salt to taste
For Fried Eggs (Itlog)
3–4 large eggs
Salt and pepper
Optional Garnish
Kimchi
Toasted sesame seeds
Sliced green onions
Instructions
Marinate the Short Ribs
Pat the short ribs dry and coat evenly with Korean sweet garlic BBQ marinade.
Marinate at least 1 hour (4 hours for deeper flavor).The sugar in the marinade helps create that beautiful caramelized crust when cooked.
Cook the Kalbi - Air fryer OR Grill
Air Fryer Method (Easy & Fast)
Preheat air fryer to 400°F
Cook 6–8 minutes per side
Edges should be caramelized with slight char
Grill Method
Grill over high heat 3–4 minutes per side
Watch closely to prevent burning

Heat oil in a large pan or wok over medium heat.
